The budding naturalist will observe, sketch and write about the wonders to be found outdoors. She’ll develop scientific inquiry skills as she records the date and location of each. The 12 glassine envelopes that tuck nicely into a pocket on the front cover are for special specimens and the notebook includes sticker labels to identify the specimens collected and the specifics about them. Notebook also includes 10 fold-up stationery sheets with stickers for sealing the “Letters from the Field.”
