The Time's Up/Time Out Dog has a standard timer built into the stuffed animal. You set the timer for 1 minute to 60 minutes. Young children don't understand the difference between 3 minutes or 3 hours. These cute stuffed animal timers make the abstract idea of time into something they can see, hear, and touch. The Time's Up/Time Out line by JAAG reduces tantrums and arguments in children. Transitions from one activity to the next are easier for everyone when the kids know it's coming. Learning to take turns gets better when the child knows it will be their turn again when the timer goes off. Time Outs are more effective as a reflecting period when they can hear the timer ticking away the minutes. Time limits on activities are set in advance with a clear end point. Helps with transitions of activities: like it's 15 minutes before bedtime or 5 more minutes more until your play date is over.
