Toys that teach result in smarter babies. We make toys for all ages, from newborns to five years, and all help with and encourage faster developmental skills. Stimulation toys are baby toys that focus on the five senses – sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell – and focusing on these skills from the beginning results in improved curiosity, attention span, memory, and nervous system development. In addition, such stimulation toys help babies reach developmental milestones faster and have better muscle coordination.
Most of our baby toys and games come in bold colors or in black and white. Some even combine black, white, and red. Color recognition is only one developmental aspect, and most of our educational toys are designed with one or more developmental aspects in mind, whether they teach a child muscle coordination or prepare him or her for kindergarten by learning numbers and letters.
For early stages of development, we carry such baby toys as Follow Me Fred, a walking dog, and Roll With It, Baby! to aid with crawling skills and many other learning toys. Many of these early educational baby toys have musical aspects, whether hearing Mozart or a familiar children’s song, and are covered in various textures. Stack toys, for example, are a combination of bold colors and many textures to stimulate a baby’s senses, and we have stack toys in traditional ring shapes, as well as animals and fish.
Aside from toys that stimulate senses, other common educational baby toys are cloth books. Tactile cloth books are often used to help with the recognition of shapes and colors but, for long-term development, they encourage directionality, which is an important pre-reading skill. In addition to reading and shape recognition, we carry many puzzles and games to help a child with learning the alphabet, animal names, and numbers up to twenty. Stuffed animals and dolls, too, can help learn skills, like tying shoes and buttoning. In addition to baby dolls, we carry a Teach Me To Dress boy doll, which includes clothing that needs to be tied, buttoned, and buckled.
Learning and playing doesn’t end as soon as you and your baby leave home. We carry many travel toys to help your baby continue to learn skills while outside in a stroller or traveling with you in a car.
