We have compiled lists of our own and our customers’ favorite birthday gifts for one to five years. Many toys for the first year are designed for stimulating and increasing language skills, as well as to remember the baby’s very first birthday. For two year olds, interactive toys and toy sets become more popular, as well as small doll houses, baby dolls, and Thomas the Train toys.



Birthday toys for three and four year olds are geared more toward interactive and make-believe games. Play sets and more complex puzzles are also popular. For four year olds, in particular, composition and sketchbooks are a favorite to help enhance creativity, as well as more complex wooden blocks sets.



Toys for five year olds are considered “big” kid toys. Games now have to do with coordination, such as dominos, memory, or geography. We also carry “Find It” games that are for finding small objects within a tube of other small objects and reinforce deductive reasoning and object identification. Consider it a miniature scavenger hunt.
